Chris Brown Tweeted The Steeze Kids Music Video

In the early hours of this morning Chris Brown, had tweeted on his twitter page the Music Video for Steeze kids that was edited by Complex Elite. The views for the video uploaded on steeze kids youtube page has SKY ROCKETED. In the space of 2 hours, Two and a half thousand views had been added for the video.

Tyga, from Young Money, then also Retweeted what Chris had posted…

Steeze Kids Video Shoot for – “Holla At Steeze” from their, soon to be out, Mixtape.

While being filmed the video was not being taken serious at all. Steeze Kids are friends of mine and we wanted to mess around with the camera. While my boy, Chike Orakwue helped me edit the video.

The Video is very “shakey” as I have not bought my long awaited stabilizer to get still hand-held shots. There are a lot of things I have spotted for improvement… but I think for something shot in under 3 hours the turn out was pretty Serious!

Coldest Winter – Kanye West

This Video is craaaazy… Kanye never cease to amaze us whether its by putting out 3 amazing rap albums then still make money by create a masterpiece which is known as 808s and Heartbreak
Here we have “Coldest Winter”. To be fair, its not one of my favourite songs but the emotion he captures through the lyrics of the songs only make you wanna reminsce about dat day… when that thing you loved most walked out and left
Poor Kanye West. Imagine after all that love he had for the girl that left him, he moved on to Amber Rose. Great Rebound Mate!!! I Owe Ya
But Back To The Video. I wont lie. This video kinda creeped me out more that “Paranoid” but all and all. If I was the director. I Would be proud mate! The graphics used are on a next level and if Kanye had a say in this (Which I know he would have) I have to say thumbs up to both.
P.S Kanye I’m still waiting for the “Street Lights” video… Please… Even if its just for me Im Waiting… Just Waiting

The Poet & The Beat II Promo

This was a quick promotional video that I had done for my friend James Massiah. This was filmed using my Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera. lol Im not gonna lie I am very glad that I have that in my possession as the HD quality Video is immense!

The Video was recorded in front of Blue screen and James himself was lit up by normal halogen room ceiling lights. The promo was edited in After Effects CS3 and took about 2 hours to have a final and finished product.

I do feel there was room for improvement but not bad for 2 hours max of a days work…

BREAKBEAT (Behind The Scenes – Music Video Shoot)

I went to Camden Studios for BreakBeat’s next music video. BreakBeat is the drummer for the Platinum selling group called Ndubz. BreakBeat is best known for being able to RAP and Drum at the same time which is kinda insane!

The camera crew hired out the studio from 7am till 7PM (BLOODY HELL). The hours do go very quick whilst productive work is being made. The music video seems like it is going to be his best yet and I really want to see the end product.

New Complex Elite Opening Sequence

For all the online videos that are yet to come on the website as well as being on youtube and facebook, we decided to come up with a new opening sequence to go in the beginning of every complex elite featured video.

The program used to make the opening sequence was Adobe After Effects CS3.

The whole process took less than 45 minutes to make and was ready to use at FULL HD resolution!

Happy New Year, everyone. Hope you all had a safe and happy celebration. Now’s the time to set some resolutions (besides losing those extra pounds, the most borrrrrring pledge in the world!!!). Here are a few of mine for 2010. I resolve to:
– Complete one piece of artistic drawing per week.
– Eat and drink more healthily. Trying to only drink nothing but water and have my “5-a-day”
– Do more themed photo shoots, to build up a more stylistic portfolio.
– To Blog as much as I can for this website.

Young Money-Bedrock(behind the scenes)

The new Young Money Music video. When I first saw the “behind-the-scenes” footage I was shocked to see that they had a full camera team, for the Digital SLR’s that were used to film the music video. The digital SLR’s were none other than the Canon 5D’s. The final outcome and quality of the music video is great and shows just how technology is advancing year by year. The New Canon pro range of DSLR’s with FULL HD video recording are a need for me as I would like to get into filming videos and short films.
